The depth of our capabilities is unmatched anywhere in the U.S.A.  We offer molding, assembly, and EMI/RFI shielding, all in house.  Caprock Manufacturing is a pioneer in inkjet printing on plastic parts.  We have multi-axis robots on all equipment with multiple  vision systems, including six degrees of freedom on some units.

Molding Equipment ranges from 40 to 400 tons.

Post molding operations include; CNC machining, decorating, ultrasonic assembly and insertion, and light electrical assembly.

Tooling is sourced globally, compressing time and money by 50% to get customers to the market quickly.  In this day of rapidly improving technology, and the resulting shorter product life; the first to the market has the advantage.  All tool maintenance is performed in house, in Lubbock, Texas.

All new programs are entered into APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) as soon as the purchase order is received.  A team is selected to review all steps of the project from tool design through work cell assignment, continuing on to customer’s first production run.

Molding specialties include insert molding, overmolding, and high performance polymers.  With customers in the aviation, aerospace, and defense segments of industry, tight tolerances are routine.
